Beware of petrol thieves in bangalore (petrol bunks)

Pay more and get less is common in Bangalore nowadays. These are the petrol bunks which fill less petrol in the cars or bikes taking advantage of the busy schedules followed by us ...and the worst hit in this are the cars because we usually stay in the car and they take advantage by tripping the meter ...Giving a compliant to owners is worst mistake because these are guys who advise to them to follow these illegal methods to make money, There was string operations conducted by local Tv channel they found 90% bunks follow these methods ..
Follow these steps :
1) Get down from the vehicle before filling and check the hose is rightly placed ..
2) Check the meter if its set to zero ...
3) Attenders pretend to hear lower value and then fill value you mentioned this common trick by them..
4) Ask the attender to remove his hands from the hose and lock the hose for auto filling ...most of the punks are having this features ..
5) Don't be in hurry and take ur time .If you think theirs any handy work by the employees just raise ur voice or compliant to manager they usually fill your tank for the correct amount ..
Here are the bunks with ratings:

It has a powerful and fast processor, Intel Pentium 4 Processor at 3.06 GHz. It features the amazing Ati Mobility Radeon 7500 card which will make displaying those graphics an amazing visual experience.

Sample essential features of the Acer TravelMate 430 gaming laptop PC are: a thermal design that allows more heat dissipation, Audio DJ buttons to help you control the notebook without turning it on, a 3-in-1 card reader that supports Secure Digital , MultiMediaCard and Memory Stick formats and a light and thin design which is really handy if you are a true mobile computer user.

You can also burn DVDs with it and can be optimised to hold up to 2GB of RAM which in anyone books will be more than enough to handle. Another handy feature that will make you the envy of many is the cool backlit keyboard that will help you see those keys when there isn't enough light for you to see properly.
4. Compaq Presario 3050us

The Compaq Presario 3050us is a true monster notebook. I don't know if HP (the new owners of Compaq) wanted to prove a point that are still strong in the mobile computer game by unleashing such powerful and fast laptop computer. Anyway, when I went over to their site looking for what they had to offer, I immediately added this to this list as the Compaq Presario 3050us truly deserves the attention of laptop gamers.

Here's an overview of this Compaq Presario 3050 notebook: a SiS 650 UMA Graphics 4X AGPand 64MB shared video memory, a rather large 16" SXGA display screen and the ultra powerful and fast 3.06GHz Intel Pentium 4 processor which is a big deal for a laptop at the time of writing. Sadly, it does not feature a DVD writer but you can now very cheap external ones from almost every computer accessories dealers.
5. Dell Inspiron 8500 and 8600 models

I have a friend who owns a Dell Inspiron 8500 and I have seen first hand how perfect it is for laptop gaming purposes. Believe me, with the very nice price, this is one laptop that you should get right away. I don't really want to come across as pushy but this thing is the bomb!

Enough ranting, here's why I rate the Dell Inspiron 8500 as the best among gaming laptops. A mobile Intel Pentium 4-M processor that can be customized to a speed of up to 2.6GHz, 32MB Ati Mobility Radeon 9000, and NVIDIA GeForce4 4200 for video graphics, a hard drive as huge as 80GB and just like the featured Apple 17" (above), up to 2GB of RAM! The only caveat is the weight which at around 6.9 lbs can have an effect on your shoulders if you plan to be on the move a lot.
6. Fujitsu Celsius Mobile H

I hope this does not go down as plagiarism but I feel that the Fujitsu people describe their potential gaming laptop better than I ever could. Here's the quote: "If you run power-hungry 3D business applications that require workstation graphics performance, you'll appreciate the CELSIUS Mobile H mobile workstation. Equipped with the power of NVIDIA's Quadro4 Go GL GPU for real-time rendering of 3D OpenGL graphics, complex simulations, and multimedia animations, the CELSIUS Mobile H mobile workstation offers powerful mobility encased in an elegant and functional design. The system delivers the workstation-level performance required by your most demanding applications with every powerful component - from the fast Intel® Pentium® 4 processor to the ultra-high resolution LCD display"

7. Gateway M350XL

What so unique about the Gateway® M350XL to make it part of this gaming laptops list? Well, for one I have to feature a Gateway laptop and secondly this laptop has all the specifications that the best gaming laptops should have: a large display screen, a huge hard drive, a quality video card and a powerful processor to work on those intense graphics as fast and furiously as possible.
8. HP Pavilion ZD7001us

This HP Pavilion ZD7001us features a huge 17" WXGA+ TFT display screen so rest assured that you will have the best visual laptop gaming experience if you choose to take one home with you. The graphics will be more than crisp clear thanks to the NVIDIA GeForce FX Go5600. The HP Ppavilion ZD7001 comes full featured with a DVD writer which is a feature that gaming laptops should all have in my opinion. Oh... did I even mention how it will devour other gaming laptops with a Intel Pentium 4 processor 3.06GHz with Hyper-Threading?
9. Sony VAIO GRT 250/270 Series

The Sony GRT series (especially the 250 and the 270) are ideal gaming laptops thanks to their powerful processors of course but also because generally Sony laptops seem to be optimised for multi-media application according to industry professionals. I don't know if it's really true of it is just a perception but I would not be surprised given that Sony's other electronic products do include video and music.

With the GRT series, you can get display screen of up to 16.1” UXGA and NVIDIA® GeForce4™ FX Go 5600 64 MB video DDR SGRAM for graphics perfection, a large hard drive... Basically, all the essential specs that are found on gaming laptops.
10. Toshiba P25 Series

I don't know if I am right in saying this but I think (and I am not sure at all) that the Toshiba P25 series were the second laptops to feature 17.0" diagonal Wide-Screen XGA display after the 17" PowerBook from Apple.

The features that make them ideal gaming laptops are: Intel Pentium 4 Processor with Hyper-Threading technology, DVD multi drive , NVIDIA® GeForce™ FX Go5200 GPU w/64MB DDR SDRAM, and rather fast and huge 80GB 5,400rpm hard drives.

Building the Ultimate Gaming Computer

To every gamer, owning the ultimate gaming computer is just like a dream come true. Not only can you play all type of games, you can also enjoy the realism of the graphics and sound, as if you are part of the game.

So what does it take to build the ultimate gaming computer? First, you must have enough cash to spare. Next, you have to know which parts to choose.

CPU

The first thing to consider is definitely the CPU. The latest addition and the best of Intel CPU is the Intel Core 2 Extreme processor. According to Intel, the latest processor has a 4 MB of shared L2 cache (usually only 512K – 2MB) and up to 1066MHz FSB, a notch higher than its previous version. It also has better power efficiency and cache management system, optimized for multi-thread functions.

If you are a hard core AMD fan, do not panic, AMD has always been a strong competitor to Intel. Its Athlon 64 FX-62 CPU is the first Windows-compatible 64-bit PC processor and has the capacity to handle the most demanding application with outstanding performance. With over 100 industry accolades under its belt, what else do I have to say?

Memory

The CPU and the memory must always be hand in hand. You can’t expect a great performance from the CPU without the support of the memory RAM. Being the stabilizer of the whole system, the bigger the memory size, the better, faster and more stable computer you can get.

Though the fastest RAM speed is DDR2 1066MHz, there are not many motherboards that can support this. The recommended speed to go for is DDR2 800MHz dual channel 2GB. Most motherboards come with 4 DIMM slots; therefore you can install two sets of the dual channel RAM to bring the total memory to 4GB. Few applications can fully utilized the 4GB memory size yet, but it never hurt to have more memory space. It also means that you can save your memory upgrade cost for the next few years.

Graphics Card

Graphics technology has gone a long way since the monochrome era. The current technology is the SLI (Scalable Link Interface) or CrossFire technology, developed by nVidia and ATI respectively. Both technologies utilize dual graphics cards and the fast PCI-Express 16x slot to deliver faster and better images. To build a ultimate gaming computer, the graphics card should at least be a PCI-Express 512MB GDDR3 SLI/CrossFire ready graphics card.

Hard Drive

When building the ultimate gaming computer, it is not the size of the hard drive that counts, but its performance that really make the difference. A 200GB hard drive is usually more than enough for the storage of your games and applications. The main differences lie in the buffer and the drive interface. The buffer determines how much data can be stored for pre-fetch while the drive interface determines how fast the data can be transferred. The most suitable choice for an ultimate gaming computer is the SATA-2 16MB buffer 200GB hard drive.

Monitor

Is there a need to say about this? The obvious choice is at least a 21” LCD monitor with 2ms response time and DVI video input. The rest is extra.

Sound Card

Yes, you really need a sound card, even though that motherboard of yours boosts a 7.1-channel onboard sound card. If you are going after the best sound possible, there are no alternatives other than the Creative Labs Sound Blaster X-Fi Platinum PCI Sound Card. It is currently one of the best sound cards that can create 3D sound in a two-speaker or headphone setup. This is definitely the one to go for.

Speaker

How can you have a great sound card without a great speaker? In order to match the performance of the great sound card you bought, a 5.1-channel speaker system or higher is necessary. A 5.1 channel means the right and left front satellites, right and left surround satellites, a center speaker and a sub-woofer. A 6.1-channel adds a rear speaker while a 7.1-channel adds left and right rear speaker. In addition, a hardware decoding system for Dolby Digital and DTS is also essential to produce the best sound effect. A good recommendation is Logitech Z-5500 6.1 channel speaker system

Keyboard/mouse

The keyboard and mouse are the only devices that you use to input command to the system. For best gaming effect, a programmable hot-key keyboard and a sensitive, accurate mouse are required. The best in the market now is the Logitech G15 gaming keyboard that allows you to program up to 18 hot-keys and Logitech G7 laser gaming mouse that allows the user to adjust the resolution to 2000dpi.

Power Supply

With so many high-power consuming parts inside the case, you will need a high rating power supply to support it. PCI-Express SLI graphics card requires a different power connector. This has to be taken in account as well. Recommended: 600W SLI ready PSU with 120mm fan.

Motherboard

I have list most of the parts, what about the motherboard? It is easy, once you have gathered all the parts above, the motherboard that can supports all of these parts will be the one you go for. To summarize, your motherboard need to

  • Be a socket 775 board for Intel processor or socket 939 / AM2 board for AMD processor
  • Has at least 4 slots of DIMM for memory RAM. DDR2 800MHz for Intel chip and DDR 400MHz for AMD
  • Support SLI or CrossFire, has at least two PCI Express 16x slot
  • SATA 2 interface for hard drive
  • This has more or less covered the requirement to build an ultimate gaming computer. A piece of advice is that building the ultimate gaming computer can easily cost you several thousand dollars. Within a few months, all of those top of the line components will be replaced with a new range of products with even greater performance. If you are restricted by budget, do not attempt to build the ultimate gaming computer. Invest in only a few products such as the RAM and graphics card will be sufficient for you to enjoy your game. Who says gaming has to be an expensive hobby?

Points to know before buying a gaming comp

Those who participate in extreme gaming use their computer for mainly one purpose: to play computer games. For this reason , the purchase of a special PC or the upgrading of a normal PC is necessary. When you are purchasing or building a computer for extreme gaming the priorities and requirements for your computer hardware are much different as opposed to a normal PC. Let’s take a look at what is focused on in a gaming PC.

The most important component of a gaming PC is its video card. This is not an area to skimp on to save money. A top of the line video card, such as the most up-to-date versions of the ATI Radeon and the NVIDIA GeForce, is needed to keep your graphics from being choppy which would delay game play. Most video games require a higher-end video card to be played at even the most basic resolution level.

Memory is probably the second most essential component in a gaming PC. You have to have substantial memory to run the game, that expensive video card, and your sound card otherwise it will all be wasted money. For most games out there you will need at least 512 MB just to run the game at the lowest resolution level. However, 1 GB or higher is recommended for action packed games, such as first person shooter games, to be played at a higher resolution level.

Your processor speed is also of a concern, although not as much so as your video card and memory. You can usually run most games at a basic resolution level on an AMD Sempron, for example, but the performance will be greatly improved if you have a processor such as an AMD XP, AMD 64, or a Pentium 4.

A good sound card is also of great importance. In many games you must be able to clearly hear commands or instructions to help you. Although you can play the game just as well with a low-end sound card, if you are going to spend money on a gaming PC anyway you might as well make it worth your expense by receiving the best experience possible.

Your monitor, keyboard, and mouse need to be looked as well. A monitor that has a good response time, such as a high-end CRT is a great choice for a gaming computer. Size may also matter to you if you want to be more “in the game”. You also need a smooth running mouse, preferably an optical one, and a keyboard that does not stick easily. You could run right into enemy fire or be unable to switch weapons quickly enough if your keys tend to lock up.

These are the main features that need to be looked at when choosing or building a computer for extreme gaming. The rest is up to you. If you have extra money to spare, after you have build the inside of your dream machine, you can work on a specialized outer casing which can have many great features of its own. But remember to save this for last. Do not get lower-end products for the inside of your computer, which will compromise your gaming performance, just to make the outside look great.
